   Zelex inserts are better than any TPE insert you can find anywhere. I know that’s a bold claim to make especially because I haven’t tried all possible inserts but you can’t come close to what silicone material provides you with in terms of feeling. I have endless TPE toys of all sorts, normal handheld masturbators, half torsos, full size doll with built in vagina and so on.
   Nothing I have tried is in the realm of the experience you have with a Zelex insert.
   Let me tell you the feeling of tightness is supreme, TPE is simply too stretchy and not firm enough to provide any form of resistance force acting on you.

   It’s a bit difficult to put the insert into my FunWest Doll since she wasn’t designed for such a big insert but with powder and carefully doing it slowly you can manage (even though I can’t fully put it in, it’s simply a little too long but you can also buy the shorter version).
   Using lube to put the insert in works better but then you need to clean the doll out as well. This is something you would want to avoid when choosing an insert over a built in vagina I feel like but everyone can do it how he wants.

   To clean it out you can’t just wrap the inside out like you can with TPE because it would simply break, you need to find a different solution.
   Milking it out is a good start to get rid of most of the fluid. Then I got attachable shower hoses that were designed for anal cleaning which I use to flush it out in the shower.
   Alternatively you can buy a cleaning kit from Coeros this will save you water compared to my method. My way of doing it is a bit splashy and may cost more water than you’d want to use but it gets all super clean.

   It’s hard to tell the different Zelex insert variations apart so you are not ensured to get the labia you want. Somehow they look very similar especially when packaged. Mine has number 3 on the back so I guess it’s variation 3 (idk if they are sorted properly here).
   For reference I have the “fair” skin tone option and I’m pretty pale holding it in my hand.
   Picture 1 is with my phone light pointing at it and picture 2 is without it on but natural light. Sadly I don’t have the best cam and depending on how color accurate your device is all pictures will look even more different. So this is just a reference if you’d want to see the actual shape it has.

   If I was able to insert it properly into my doll I would have made a picture but it’s just sticking out, I don’t mind that but you can’t get a clear idea how it would look like when done properly on a Zelex doll made for it.
   Inserting “yourself” into it is pretty easy when proper lubing is applied, the entrance simply guides you in very well so you can have intimate moments with your doll of choice or even without a doll. A proper masturbator made of silicone would do a better job since it is designed to be hand held / ergonomic of course but you have the option to use it “solo”.

   Due to stretching a bit too much when pulling it out of the doll / from bloating when cleaning with pressurized water I noticed a few thinner spots (while it is bloated up). Now I will take a lot more care because of that. When cleaning I simply hold it tight at the back end of it and try to angle my cleaning thingy so the water has a way out.
   When pulling it out of the doll I’ll be gentler and do it slower as well even if a mess might be in store due to everything being so tight.

   Again, very satisfied with the Zelex insert and with the service I got provided when trying to decide if I should get it or not. Everything I wanted to know about it was explained and it solidified my decision to purchase it. Just hearing that it’s good isn’t the same as having a proper talk about it with someone that knows their stuff in and out.
   Adding my own experience and thoughts to the product hopefully gives you a better idea as well, have fun with your Zelex insert.

     I’m really glad to hear that your first experience with a silicone toy was so positive. As you mentioned, TPE is softer and more elastic, while silicone provides a tighter sensation. Both materials have their own unique qualities.

     Zelex inserts are mainly designed for Zelex dolls with removable vaginas, so they may not fit your FunWest doll perfectly. Using powder, as you suggested, is a good way to reduce friction between the insert and the doll, making installation easier. You can also try using a water-based lubricant, which helps reduce friction during installation. After drying, water-based lubricant often becomes slightly tacky and can help keep the insert in place. Cleaning is simple, just rinse with water without needing any special cleaning agents.

     When cleaning, never turn the insert inside out, as this can cause irreversible tears. Besides the methods you mentioned, you can also use a regular soft rubber hose. Connect one end to the faucet and insert the other into the insert for rinsing. It is important to adjust the water flow properly, because water pressure that is too strong can damage the insert.

     Immediate drying after cleaning is essential. For drying the insert, you can use the same method as for the doll’s vagina. Use a diatomaceous earth drying stick to absorb most of the moisture, and then use a doll dryer to finish drying. You can also use any other suitable tools, but always make sure the insert is completely dry to prevent mold growth.

     As you mentioned, the labia shapes of Zelex inserts do look quite similar. However, you can specify any of the five different labia designs shown on our product page and let us know your preference by email. We will then make the insert according to the labia shape you select.

     When using lubricant, always choose water-based lubricants and avoid oil-based ones if possible. For all silicone products, never use silicone-based lubricants, as these can cause the material to swell and tear. Whether you use the insert by itself or inside a doll, always clean and dry it thoroughly after each use.

     When removing the insert, please go slowly. Do not pull hard or stretch it excessively, as this can make it thinner and cause permanent deformation. If you encounter too much friction, lubricate the outer surface of the insert first. Do not pull directly on the tip; instead, grip the base of the insert where it is exposed to minimize deformation.

   Amazing for openings not equipped with labia. The SY166 B cup for instance, although the depth is long, I cut it down and plugged the hole with food grade Silicone sealant and it works beautifully!
